After what was only supposed to be a weekend visit to Harrisonburg, here we are planning a wedding together. We met through a mutual friend when Julia came down to visit Harrisonburg for the very first time. After getting Covid and quarantining together in an interesting turn of events, Julia (and Teddy, of course) took a leap of faith and moved from New York for the first time in her life to start a life in Harrisonburg.

Our love for each other grew quickly. The next two years were filled with many movie dates, being each other's dance partner (for better or for worse), and even a new addition to the trio-Phoebe.

When it came to starting the next chapter of their lives together, Michael knew he had to do something special. With months of planning he finally found the perfect way to ask Julia to marry him. He reserved the entire Washington Monument for just the two of them to go to the top at Sunset. There, Michael got down on one knee and popped the question.

Now, we are getting ready for the next chapter and are so glad to be sharing it with all of you. We hope our wedding will be a continuation of our story, sharing the theme of lots of laughing, dancing, and love!
